In autumn of this year, I made a trip home to rural Argyllshire where I picked brambles and elderberries, ivy and oak, grasses, seedheads and other plants.
I then made cyanotype prints from them in the Glasgow sun, before binding them into these books.
I hand finished each one with delicate gold tooling, following the lines of the plants.

This exposed sewing method highlights the complete hand crafed nature of these books. The pages open flat, so that the ideas and notes can spread across the page.

Each one of these is unique, and something special. Pages are of creamy, off-white UK milled paper, perfect for sketching, drawing and note taking.
